The high temperature hot water pumps exported by Blossom to Qatar are used to circulate deoxygenated water at 160°C through the flue gas scrubber to neutralize acidic emissions. The pumps are constructed of 316L stainless steel to resist pitting corrosion caused by chlorides in seawater cooling systems, while the tandem mechanical seals prevent steam leakage at an operating pressure of 25 bar.
